Taking some time off after attending a funeral.  I’ve taken some pictures of LJ and the cats, and put them up in the Picture Gallery.  Enjoy!

I’ve upgraded Wordpress, removed the forums (which only ever seemed to draw spam, anyway) and added a few new plugins to help secure the site and keep spam away.  Yawn.

Yes, I know. Basically, it was a choice between having picture galleries working or having a forum working. Sodding URL rewrites… Due to “popular demand,” I’ll try and find a more permanent fix to the issue soon.

I went and visited my family this weekend, and took some pictures. I’ve put them in the Easter 2008 gallery. Happy Easter!

Life’s been fairly quiet recently. Started a new web development consulting project, have been bowling regularly, and watching the 2008 Presidential campaign with interest. I’ll probably throw some cat pics into the photo section soon. I’m actually running low on photos to post, since I’m not much of a shutterbug.

So I’ve put some pictures I took last spring up in the Picture Gallery, so I can stare longingly at flowers and ducks and babbling brooks.

More pics of my nephew have been uploaded.

Pics of the Campitheatre for my fellow alums are up. I’m trying to decide if I like the Gallery integration with Wordpress or if I should just have the Gallery be separate.

Ok, image galleries are now working. 71 blurry, low-rez, out-of-focus pictures that were taken five years ago have been added!

Forums are up. Galleries are next on my plate, but I’m thinking it would be very useful to have shell access to the site first. I theoretically have it, but can’t log in for some reason - may need to review the docs my hosting company sent me initially; or may need to fire them an email…
